Parker:"From low-yielding, 45- to 50-year-old vines planted by Tim's grandfather on red, hard slate in the Stromberg, the 2021 Weisser Burgunder 'S' trocken offers concentrated and spicy, intense and ripe white fruit intertwined with darker-toned and coolish mineral flavors of crushed slate. Aged in tonneaux and a bit of stainless steel, this is a full-bodied, lush and elegant, very fine and balanced Pinot with delicate tannins and firmly mineral and finely phenolic grip. The wine is juicy and creamy textured and finishes with lingering salinity and fine bitters. Still young, this Pinot Gris should be cellared for at least another two or three years. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022."
